As co-founder of D2L (TSX: DTOL), he scaled the company from a startup into a global SaaS unicorn and public company — serving as CTO, COO, and Chief Strategy Officer, raising over $375M across private and public markets, and leading product innovation, human resources, M&A, and international market strategy along the way. He is a named inventor on 30+ patents.
Now he's re-investing that experience into the next generation of founders. Jeremy backs companies at the seed stage with more than capital: hands-on support navigating product, strategy, go-to-market, and the hard operational decisions he has made firsthand. An active angel investor, board member, and startup mentor, he has also advised the federal government on the future of work.

Noel is a serial entrepreneur and innovator in AI and enterprise software. He founded Karen.ai, an AI-powered HR tech startup acquired by AMS, where he later served as Global Head of Digital Products, leading technology, AI, and data strategy worldwide. Noel previously built CTrade, a fintech company focused on algorithmic crypto trading, and was Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Whitecap Venture Partners.
An active advisor and mentor with Creative Destruction Lab and NEXT Canada, Noel was recognized with the Tim Price Award for Entrepreneurship and the CDL 2026 Mentor of the Year award. His expertise spans product innovation, AI applications, and go-to-market strategy. Beyond tech, Noel is also a musician and longtime drummer with notable Canadian bands, bringing a creative touch to the team.
Michelle is a venture investor and capital-markets leader with a track record of building category-defining funds. Across more than 20 years in venture capital and private equity she has managed over $1B, building institutional funds behind companies at the forefront of new technology. As former Managing Partner at BDC Capital, she built one of the largest venture platforms in the world investing in women-led technology, including the $500M Thrive Platform for Women, backing high-growth founders across Canada.
Michelle is a Kauffman Fellow (Class of 2026), an ICD.D-certified corporate director, and a former Board Director of the Canadian Venture Capital & Private Equity Association (CVCA). She brings institutional discipline and two decades of allocator relationships to Lucid's founders, preparing them for growth-stage capital and governance long before they need it.
